Jairam Ashram is counted as one of the must visits in Haridwar. A prime spot of Haridwar district, Jairam Ashram is visited by huge number of tourists every year. Haridwar is a major pilgrimage center nestled in the quaint and serene hills of Uttaranchal. The world-famous Kumbh Mela takes place in Haridwar, which is one of the four such locations where the event occurs. From Har-ki-Puri and the Ganges to the ancient temples and ashrams, Haridwar is rich with many religious and natural relics. Famous for its diorama exhibition, and a massive white statue depicting the famous Samudra manthan episode, a must-see for any visitor. Jai Ram Ashram is on the Rishikesh road. Here, unlike other places, multicoloured deities of Hindu temples are absent. Instead white sculptures of deities depict the Gods and Demons are in their place.
